Mitko's Guests in Varna, Bulgaria

I lived in Varna for quite some time and after few invitations Tanya finally decided it is time to visit me in Varna.

The plan unfortunately was to be my guest only for the weekend. Now that's interesting. I was in Varna for around 7 years and I roamed a lot for that period. The time for the visit but was too short to show her all the things worth seeing in and around the town. I had to choose only a few things, which turned to be a hard choice for me. The idea was to take her to 3 places. Why three? The main goal is to have enough time to enjoy these places with no hurry to the next place.

But how could I choose which three? I wanted to show her "the Tower" (Vinitsa TV tower), and the "Monument of Pochivka", and Port area, "Aladjata" (Aladzha Monastery), and the Ovech fortress, the Dolphinarium, the sea garden and many more.
I decided to ask my buddies what would be their top 3 spots for guest in Varna(and around). I had some really odd answers including some of the above, and also "Pasha dere", the Galata panorama, the promenade, the Red square kebabs ( that one is a must if you visit Varna ) and others.

Here are my final three: a walk from Sevastopol through the sea garden, walk in the Port area and the lighthouse and the ancient fortress Kaliakra.

We actually had time to visit some others from the list and the adventure was amazing!

Write down in the comments what would be your top 3 for the place you live in. Where would you take your guests?
