It all happened quite random. I've known about Silistar for a long time, but I haven't been there since I was a child (and I have no memories of it). We agreed with Marto and Dancho to go to the beach and take a walk in nature. One of them suggested we go to Silistar and we all agreed.

The weather forecast was contradictory and we expected absolutely everything. With our arrival to the beach in front of us opened this amazing view. The sun was shining brightly and we were ready for a swim, but we decided to play some beach volleyball first.

A little later, clouds appeared and a great downpour came from nowhere. All the people from the beach ran to look for dry place, but we stayed and continued enjoying volleyball on the beach in the rain, and then we switched to playing in the sea.

After the rain passed, the water took on this beautiful greenish hue and the sun rose again. After the storm, as expected, the wind calmed down and it was a perfect time to lift the drone, from which I took great photos and videos. Something that made a very good impression on me was the bay next to us, which stood empty. And also a huge rock in the water, which I saw as a human step in the sea.

After all we had a wonderful day at the beach with a lot of fun, a little rain and light burns on the body (although we applied sun cream). Just as we left, it started pouring again. We were happy and already on the way home. We said that the trip there was definitely worth it and we would love to do it again.

Silistar is probably the most beautiful beach on our Black Sea coast. Due to the deep bay, the water is almost always calm, in summer it is warm and very clean. The beach is about 1 km long and about 50 m wide and is covered with golden sand.

For lovers of swimming, the shore is very pleasant and smoothly passes into the depths, and divers should be careful with the underwater caves, there is a possibility of vortices. The beach is one of the favorite surfing spots on our Black Sea coast.

Since 1992, Silistar Park has been declared a Silistar Protected Site. It falls on the territory of Strandzha Nature Park, is guarded and controlled by the employees of the state forestry and the municipal administration in Tsarevo and the Strandzha Nature Park Directorate. Silistar is part of the Strandzha protected areas for the protection of wild birds and natural habitats. Rare and protected birds such as bald eagle, black stork, holly dove and others nest on the dunes and rocks around.
