2020... what a year!
It was quite exciting and interesting. 2020 was quite memorable to me. Through it I laid the foundations of Mitko on Trip. I started the long delayed trips and put a lot of effort into creating the videos for this channel.
In the mountains in winter? Ooooo, yes! There is sometimes snow in the city, but it cannot be compared to that in the mountains. The warmth of the fireplace and the hot tea in the hut after long games outside. The most delicious soup after ten km of transition in the snow. This is Mazalat hut!

This week I have a new and interesting adventure for you. A little popular eco-trail at the foot of Vitosha mountain starting from the village of Marchaevo. It is located 16 km from Sofia in the direction of Pernik and is comfortably located at 1300 m above sea level.
The eco-trail is called Marchaevo - "Tserova Polyana". The trail is about 3-4 km long (in one direction) and is entirely in a wooded area. A very convenient place for the end of the walk is the shelter "Kamenodelets". There are several benches and a water sourcewhere you can sit and eat before heading back.
The village is extremely quiet and typical of the mountain towns as if time has stopped. People are in no hurry, everything happens somehow smoothly and casually. This mood also drifts away when you walk on the old roads. The houses are wooden and although most of them have been restored, they have kept the spirit of the past.

Back in 2018 I promised Pesho to go to Buzludzha and camp there. It's been a while and many things have changed - we are no more sharing a desk in the office, but the promises must be kept.
